The disconnected water accounts file contains a list of all residential water accounts that have at some point been disconnected. Only accounts where the customer has agreed to release their personal information are listed. You can click on the following link to download the file:

Disconnected Water Accounts

The file is in a comma separated value (CSV) format that can be loaded into an Excel spreadsheet and includes the following columns:

A) Stop Date – date that the water was disconnected

B) Street – street address of disconnected property

C) City – city of disconnected property

D) State – state of disconnected property

E) Zip – zip code of disconnected property

F) Status – current status of the water account – either ACTIVE or INACTIVE. If INACTIVE, account has been disconnected and remains disconnected.

If your Excel is not automatically set to load CSV files, please use the following instructions to view the data. Note - these instructions are for the Excel Office 365 version, but older versions of Excel use a similar procedure.

1) Open up Excel and create a new workbook.

2) From the Excel menu ribbon click on the Data section.

3) Click on the From Text/CSV icon. Note that on older versions of Excel, this may say From Text.

4) Navigate to the where you have stored the downloaded WaterDisconnects.csv file, click on that file once then click on Open or Import depending on your version of Excel.

5) For Office 365, the six columns are then displayed. Click on Load to pull the data into your workbook. For other versions of Excel, you will need to specify the delimiter (comma) during the import process before loading the data into your workbook.
